    COULOMJO's Torrent progression thread (Updated Oct 22nd 2013, Accident)

    Here we are... 4 years later and several mods have been done to the Torrent! Here is a montage of pics!

    Stock (before any mods)

    Appearance mods:
    - 4300k HID's (Highs, lows & fogs)
    - 3in Step assist bars
    - White LEDs (licence plate)
    - Stainless tip

    Performance mods:
    - Stage 2 CAI
    - Vector MotorSports Heat Soak Reduction Kit (HSRK)

    Interior mods:
    - White LEDs

(O3), 20% Tint, Upper & lower recessed grilles (black), LEDs (dome light, trunk, licence plate & reverse lights), DRL delete, intake resonator delete, Dart & trunk keyhole overlays, debadge, '09 Stock radio (with AUX IN), '10 HVAC controls, Hood quicklifts, Eagle Eyes black projector headlights, LED brake/turn lights (including 3rd brake light LED retrofit), Pioneer speakers (front & back), Bazooka BTA8100FHC 8" Subwoofer, Hidden 12v adapter (that turn on with the ignition), EE Halo DRL bypass (How-to).

    looking good , i like all the led lights. makes it look more luxury

    Mods- VMS ECM/TCM Tune, Custom Magnaflow Cat Back, Full CRAB Intake, Racing Line Motor Mounts and Strut Tower Brace. Tinted Windows & Tails. EBC USR Rotors Front and Rear running YellowStuff Pads

        not bad..clean

        but...huge aero exhaust sticker, and all you have on is a tip.....


        Mods: 30% tint front, 18% tint rear, custom eyelids, custom painted rocker panels, custom painted side/wing mirrors, GXP front bumper/fascia, eibach pro kit springs, 17" black/machined face liquid metal venoms, interior CF kit, K&N typhoon intake, Flashtech HID's 6000K lows, 10,000K fogs, Xenon 8500k highs.

        Other ride: 07 Q7 for now

            The sticker came with it (and a cap actually) Too bad I couldn't get a matching G6performance.com decal! Both are inside the hatch so it's not too bad (didn't want my car to look like a sponsored pace car) but I do have another G6performance decal on the back glass to show my "true colors".

              That looks really nice! Where did you get the LED's for your license plate lights? Those are bright as hell!

              There are gateway drugs... and then gateway mods. BOTH ARE ADDICTING WATCH THE F*** OUT!

                I got them from a seller on Ebay called CARLeds. His stuff is really good & low prices!

                License lights: 194 1 SMT white led
                Interior map lights : 194 5 SMT white led

                The 9 SMT leds for the dome lights I got from a different seller.

                  Nice clean torrent! I like the torrents alot myself. I talked my GF into last year buying a new 08 torrent GXP AWD. There a great vechile! Overall, I think the torrent is a nicer all away around vechile then the G6.

                    Thanks Dre! We wanted it blue like your GF's (and of course I wanted the GXP) but we got a really good deal on this one (close to 4000$ off). I still miss my 6 but less often than last year. With the mods that I've done to her the only real thing I miss is the acceleration over 120km/h. Under that the Stage 2 & VMS HSRK does very well the job!

                      man thats one beautiful truck. look good in white, and definitely looks better then the equinox
