    SkinnyPete's 07 G6 GT Progression (G6 TRADING IT Pg. 12)

    TRADED IN 12/21/11


    I thought I would start a thread here since I actually have some minor mods completed.



    Here she is the day I bought her.



    And my first mod blacking out the chrome.







    Today I got the tails tinted. I went a little light because I wanted a more crimson look rather than black.








    That's all for now.

        MAN, the person that key'ed your car should have their hands lopped off at the wrists!!!!
        TRADED IN BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN: 2006 GT Coupe in granite metallic, 15/5% tint, vinyl side marker deletes, Doctor Speed Stage 3 CAI, RED calipers by DupliColor, RED LED interior lights, 45 LED tail lights, WideView 8000K HID coversion kit, Nokya Artic White fogs installed, running MoBil 1, FIRST ever granite metallic color matched headlights!! Color matched eyelids just finished! GT-R Exhaust installed. R1 Concepts drilled and slotted zinc plated front rotors.

          Thanks! I used electrical tape cut to fit with a razor blade. It's lasted through a couple car washes but i'm worried about it peeling when the weather starts to heat up. So I may need to find another way to do it such as actually painting it black.

            Nice car! I like what you've done with the tails... I don't like it when they're smoked too dark...

            As for the "chrome removal" I know that some people used some black tape from 3M... I think that Pooners (Lampoon) used some on his... might want to PM him.

            Good luck with the mods! I had an '05 sport red metallic G6 and with tinted windows... the tint makes one hell of a difference!

                Just pull off the window trim and paint them... Thats what I did. Its not hard at all.. Its just one screw per trim.

                    Its right inside on either the far left or far right of the trim, you cant miss it. Just keep in mind to pull up and towards you.

                          It is super easy, look for the srew in there, not to hard to find. And gently lift and wiggle it up. I worked with a body guy, and seen him do it on my car to replace the B pillar when it was broken into.

                          ISimple Ipod adapter, Heat wrapped Injen, CRABs Option 3, ?% Tint, 6000K HIDs,GT-R, Tinted Tails, Rear badge delete, Plastidiped grills and front dart, Brembos, Pulse p5 17"s, racingline MMIs

                            yes crimson and everybody....its just one screw. I slapped my forehead after finding this out. oh btw its a phillips screw.
