    Re: Eycman's G6 Progression

Here's a few good pictures of the 6 right before the tint job.

Here's a few pictures of the job being completed.

Half way done and the battery died. Had to hook it up to a charger in order to be able to operate the windows. Oops My Mistake.

Almost done just a few more finishing touches.

I went with 20% on the front and 5% on the rest.

Now that's more like it. Sorry it was already dark by the time we got done. I'll take more pictures tomorrow.

Edit: Reorganized my Photobucket albums so I had to fix links.

      Re: Eycman's G6 Progression

I was in a hurry to get to work so I wasn't really paying too much attention and I hit a raccoon on the way to the house. So I guess that tells me my next project is going to be replacing the headlights. The passenger one is now cracked and got water in it from washing the coon blood off the car.

      Any suggestions?

A racoon broke your headlight? Everything I have read indicates the Eagle Eye headlights are the best choice for quality. I like the look of the black Spyders but people say they have bad projector lenses that make the light output crap. As for the light bulbs I can say that I love the DDM Tuning 55watt 5k HID's, every car with HID's I have pulled along side of can't compair in brightness to these so far. My factory high beams look yellow and dim in comparison. I also just ordered a 100watt 5k Xenon Set from autolumination.com for the high beams.

The tint looks real good. I got 35% on the doors and 20% on the back since my wife cant see shit and I don't need her backing into everything lol If not for her i would done the same as yours because I also get headaches from bright sunlight.
        WAMS 91 tune,
        Racingline MMI's
Chrome Intakes CAI (custom true ram air to come)
        35% side tint, 20% rear, 5% strip
        Debadged except GXP emblems
        Tinted tails
Spyder tinted lights (complete rebuild + 4 projectors in design stage)
        DDM 5k HID Low's
Polk 5000.5 amp, 12" Polk DXI sub, Pioneer 4way 6x9's. (complete system replacement soon)

Before I complete this post Rcb2875 I hope that your wife can see out of the car with 20%. I would really hate to hear that someone has damaged a 6 due to not being able to see out of the window.

As for the 6 times of scheduling my 6 to get tinted each time it had something to do with my ex-wife. So now that I have finally gotten rid of her I haven't had any issues with the scheduling....LOL

This way I don't have to listen to any nagging about me wanting to save $ and mod the car now.

          Oh Yeah!!! Oh Yeah!!!

too late.. it was backed into just two weeks after buying it. Despite parking it where no other car was and being a bright sunny day.

I can say that my wife doesn't nag me about spending on mods. After 15 years of mairrage she learned resistance is futile.

OUCH!!! that's almost as bad as my wreck. I was T-Boned this past March while a guy attempted to take and exit at 70+MPH from the far left lane. Not realizing I was in the far right lane until he hit me.

I disagree. yours is much worse. I managed to pop 90% of my dent out with a piece of 1.5" PVC pipe LOL

Your car looks great now though so at least they did a good job at the body shop. Did you smack him around a bit for being a bone head? If there is one thing that trips my nutzo switch it's idiots. When the lady backed into my car sitting away from everything she locked herself in her car. I guess the are you F'in kidding me, did you try to target the ONLY vehicle in BFE.. scared her. I was a tad upset and have slight anger managment issues. LOL

That's pretty bad you've been to whataburger in Altus enough times to recognize the parking lot? LMAO!!! I was in a hurry to get to work and it was the last stop on the way out of town.

                    That's cool though.

So now I am looking for mod ideas to do that won't cost too much $ since Christmas is right around the corner.

                          Re: Eycman's G6 Progression

Tonight when I was putting daughter to bed she asked for a new car seat for my car. Since she has a hand-me-down car seat from her brother I said I would look into getting her own brand new car seat. She immediately asked for a Tinkerbell car seat.

So now I have been tasked with either finding a Tinkerbell car seat or having a new car seat cover made with Tinkerbell on it.

I was thinking of trying to get one made that still fit the Black/Red theme of the car but had a big Tinkerbell sewn into the back rest of the car seat.

Any Ideas or suggestions? Now that she has asked for this all other mods are on the back burner until she gets this.

I went and finally had free time to get the 6 washed up good and nice.

A few at the Car Wash.

A few after during air dry.
