    Jonah52's Techno Gray GT Build

    Hey guys, my name is Jonah. About 2 months ago I traded in my 2005 Yukon Denali (165k miles) for this 2007 Pontiac G6 GT sedan. The car has 72,000 miles and is in great shape. It has the 3.5 VVT V6 and has a lot of options including:

    -Monsoon audio system
    -Black leather seats
    -Heated seats
    -Sunroof
    -Chrome 17'' wheels
    -6 disc CD changer
    -Slapstick transmission
    -Power windows and locks
    -Traction control

    It is techno gray and I am really looking forward to making it my own. So far this is the list of mods I want to complete:

    -20% tint all the way around
    -CAI
    -Black pontiac emblem overlays
    -Debadge everything but the pontiac arrow
    -G6 embroidered mats (possibly Weathertech's)
    -Convert all bulbs to LED's
    -HID high and low beams
    -Chrome mesh top and bottom grills.

    Im planning on purchasing the LED's form SuperbrightLEDS.com, the intake from eBay, and I have a local tint shop doing the work. Eventually I would like to convert the rear lower valance to dual exhaust just for looks.

    I couldn't afford to keep putting gas in the yukon with the large amount of time I spend driving so this thing is going to save me some money. I already love my car and have a good idea of how I want it to look. Thanks for having me and here she is:

    Got the 20% window tint done and emblem overlays:

      Welcome to the club! Same color as mine looks good! Check out my progression for some ideas on mods, try blacking out some of the chrome trim

        When I first got it the dealer sticker was clear coated over top of so I had to do some wet sanding and respray the clear. Here's the results. I used clear in a spray can from Automotivetouchup.com.

          Got the 20% tint done with the emblem overlays.

                        I installed red floor LED's front and rear and located the switch in the drop down cubby under the fog light switch:

                        Also, ignore the ugly beige mats I received from the dealer to go with my black interior....I wasn't happy.

                            I scored some brand new mesh grills in chrome on craigslist for $50. Im going to paint the lower grills to match that way the chrome mesh grill really pops. I can't decide if i should paint the upper grill surrounds to match or not either, what do you guys think?

                              looks like you scratched the paint when removing the gm symbol but not bad for initial mods. keep it up
                              8000k hids, interior paint, tint 35 front/ 20 back, tinted tails with pontiac symbol, blacked out headlights with black eyelids, red grille lights, racing stripes, interior neons, 2- OZaudio 10 in subs, 1800 watt kenwood amp, 17in XXR-001, intake, custom exhaust, painted engine cover
