Got a WRX like I've wanted for a while. And of course it was on my birthday It's got 51k miles and doesn't have one issue or even cosmetic damage. It's twice as fast as my last car (the lancer) and all wheel drive is awesome. It can go 0-60 in 4.7 but I don't plan on trying that anytime soon even with the lifetime powertrain and 3 year bumper to bumper i bought.

Right when I got home I had to debadge it and turn off the DRL's.

Now for some tint and definitely a short shifter/bushings. The slop is just miserable.

    I love this thing.

    Edit:
Car was tinted a couple hours ago.

          Re: zlatsky's 2009 WRX

First thing done was the shifter setup since every stock one that has ever existed sucks. Got a kartboy shifter that's 40% shorter, front and rear shifter stay bushings, linkage bushings, and a flossy grip tape shift knob.

And of course like the lancer I had to get one of those awesome shift boots from redlinegoods.com. They're always awesome.

          Before:

          After:

And then of course had to buy the oem fog light setup and the 55w 6000k HIDs. Got those switchback white/black led turn signal bulbs that are actually pretty nice looking.

Wheels have been plastidipped gold but i'm still really iffy on them

Now to get the go-fast stuff. Bolt-ons and a tune with boost is really nice

Unless you have a STI you are not doing 0-60 in 4.7. Still a nice a car though.

I'll bet you I do. The sti's 0-60 is slower.

                      Re: zlatsky's 2009 WRX

The wrx gets a faster 0-60 than the sti because of gearing. I can get to 60 in 2nd. Sti's must be in 3rd.

And with a downpipe and tune I hope he's making that lmao

                        Re: zlatsky's 2009 WRX

In 2005, Toyota bought around half of GM’s stake in Subaru. As ToMoCo never bought Saab, they never bothered with a Saabaru. Instead, Toyota decided to go for a return on their investment. How? By broadening the WRX’s appeal. That’s right, the WRX, Subaru’s de facto all-wheel drive, turbocharged, deformed-looking halo vehicle was going to bring home the bacon by appealing to moms. Ha ha ha. As such, the 2008 WRX was an abject failure. There’s no better…
