No. Just sanded and sprayed on some base.

Well i learned my lesson. Expect every rim before you buy them. the rim that was on the very bottom in a box is scratched to hell. i'm calling around to see how much it would cost for powdercoating now...

If I'm going with the painting route it will be $80 per wheel to get them powder coated and I'd get them in gunmetal.

I'm going to see if i can get those polished faced gtp rims for $450 shipped...if that happens then i'll just sell these cheaply.

The one damaged rim looks horrible on the car. I was quoted $16 per wheel for tire dismount and mount and $75 for prep and powdercoating. So basically I'm looking at $364 to get them painted.

The rims themselves look good on the car though with the low profile tires.

Black Calipers FTW! and hubs...
It looks so simple and normal, but every time I look at my rims, and then behind them I fall in love, it looks so much better then when they were silver.. you can still see some of the silver on the top of the rotor.
